What a great find Protea Picnics was. We had 2 attempts at our picnic today due to Baboons interrupting the first one. We finally got a second attempt a few hrs later on Chapman Peak Drive. Fantastic fresh healthy food and plenty of it.  Cape town is an amazingly beautiful natural city and Sallys delicious homemade fresh food is the best way to enjoy the outdoors with family friends or even on a solo adventure. Sally’s Picnic was absolutely delicious. She made sure there was no gluten as my wife is celiac. We can definitely recommend Caprese, beet root salad, roast beef, potato gratin and humus. I picked up a picnic for two from Protea Picnics today, and it was absolutely amazing! Ordering from Sally was smooth and friendly, and everything was ready on time, beautifully packaged, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The balsamic roasted tomatoes with red onion and basil tart was a perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the Asian noodle salad was wonderfully flavorful and fresh. The satay chicken with peanut sauce had just the right amount of spice, and the hummus was deliciously creamy. For dessert, the baklava and the champagne cupcake were the perfect sweet ending—both indulgent but not too heavy. Sally’s picnic menus are put together with so much love and attention to detail.
